DESIGN and PLAN

DESIGN

Create at least two story boards that will list all the elements of each scene: text, background, audio, visuals, transitions, special effects etc. Consider what elements could be “self produced.”

Chose one storyboard, and justify your choice. Check them against your Design specification.

PLAN

  • Set a time frame and work plan for all work to be done. Do what? By When?
  • How are you going to do it, what tools or application programs are you going to use?
  • Collect, select and organize your media in a folder on Students Storage and name it appropriately.

Don't forget that you will need high resolution images and do your best to choose your music well in advance and bring it to school well in advance. Don't forget that almost always there are some technical problems when dealing with software and that sometimes it takes more time than you originally anticipated. Plan wise!

Please write posts on your blogs on Design and Plan!

MMP project deadlines

Well, my dear 10th graders, time is running (very fast) :-)

So this is your Time line/Deadline for this project:

Presentation night 03.06. 2009 at 6pm hopefully somewhere outside in HS campus under white tents (pending upon weather). If you have any other suggestions, please say, as this is your night and our farewell at the same time.

10A
1. 29.04
2. 06.05
3. 12.05
4. 18.05
5. 22.05
6. 28.05

10B

1. 27.04
2. 04.05
3. 08.05
4. 14.05
5. 20.05
6. 26.05

As you can see you have 6 periods to do your Design and Plan and Create your MMP. Deadlines for your finished MMP are 26.05 and 28.05 respectively. I will not accept late MMP without viable justification, and won't be showing late MMP's on presentation night, so I advise you to respect your deadline and organise and plan well!

Testing your MMP

Before you start doing your Design, you should devise appropriate test for your MMP. How would you know that your MM poem is effective and of appropriate quality? Write a post on your blog.
